Inuit walkcycle!
This is actually my first completed animation for my grad film. It’s completely done in flash but I pretty much did it classically, only with a tablet.
Demo Reel from 06
This video glitches a little, and I hope to fix that soon. It has something to do with the type of file I had it in when I uploaded it on youtube. In any case it gives you a ruff idea of my previous work. I hope to update it soon with the work i do this year. It's all just old animation assignments I’ve done from 2nd and 3rd year, as well as a summer co-op i worked on a film called umbrellaboy. (The 3d character model is by Chris Howald. Scenes from umbrellaboy are composited, and secondary animation in after FX by Trev Jimenez, and the backgounds are by Nick Thornborrow.)
Cool Sound of Music (working title) ruff animatic
So this is just my story reel for my grad film that ended up being an animatic. I thought by doing more of an animatic as opposed to a story reel it would be a good way of getting my self to learn flash, which it did. This is actually the version that got screened at the end of the semester of 06. The music and sound is still ruff. I used Pavarotti’s version of the song Nessum Dorma as a scratch track. I currently have composer (Lise Vaugeois) working on re-scoring the music to fit my film and afterward my brother Carl Aube will sing the part. There are few shots that I changed since this version but not much. Please leave comments good or bad. Enjoy! :)
